A 3 day Advanced neurology course Level I
About this course:
The skills taught will be a brief discussion of neurologic localisation, SOP instrumentation, thoracolumbar hemi-laminectomy, fenestration, stabilisation of lumbar fractures with SOP locking spinal plates, cervical slot decompression, dorsal laminectomy for lumbosacral decompression and stabilisation of L7 fractures
There will be five sessions beginning with theory and detailed step-by-step description of the procedures followed by a demonstration of the procedures by the faculty on a cadaver.
The attendees will then repeat the procedures on cadavers as many times as required. The highest quality instrumentation will include specialised spinal instrumentation, high-speed burrs, drills and the latest innovative and industry leading implants.

The level of this course is designed and aimed and skilled surgeons already experienced is neuro surgery, Covering laminectomies and ventral slot decompression, it then goes on to allow you to expand your repertoire with highly advanced technical procedures such as stabilisations, craniotomies and introduction to stenting.
There will be five sessions beginning with theory and detailed step-by-step description of the procedures followed by a demonstration of the procedures by the faculty on a cadaver.
The attendees will then repeat the procedures on cadavers as many times as required. The highest quality instrumentation will include specialised spinal instrumentation, high-speed burrs, drills and the latest innovative and industry leading implants.
